Many programs end right when you've reached your goal. That's often when things go wrong. So Ebba has a continuation: Maintenance, a calmer phase where you keep what you've built.
Why Maintenance exists
Without new habits, the weight often returns when treatment ends. With habits that have had time to take hold, and lighter support in the background, you have something that carries you. That's how Ebba's method has been designed from day one.
In the active phase you build the routines. In Maintenance the routines do the work, and the support is still there for the weeks when life gets in the way.
If you've had medical treatment, the direction is for it to eventually be tapered, gently and with support all the way. How and when is the doctor's call, together with you.
Ebba stays for the long-term habits, and follow-ups continue every month.

Maintenance is for those who have reached their goal in the active phase. When it starts becoming relevant, you and the doctor go through the transition together. The pace is individual and there's no single answer that fits everyone.
Maintenance is the follow-up phase after an active treatment period, not a starting point. If you're new to Ebba, Basic is the right way in, and the first doctor consultation is free. If you have questions about your situation, the team will help you at support@ebba.health.
Then the support is close. The relapse-prevention tools exist for exactly those periods, Ebba helps you adjust in everyday life and the monthly follow-up catches it early. Tough stretches are part of it, and you won't face them alone.
